D R Mercer
D. R. Mercer working models are produced by a small Birmingham based precision engineering company, all parts are hand made to ensure a high quality finished model. Built to a scale of 5/8th of an inch to the foot. The boiler is constructed from brass, fully silver soldered, hydraulically tested with a working pressure of 15psi and fired by a spirit lamp with two wicks as standard, a gas burner is available as one of many optional extras and upgrades.
D.R.Mercer produces a number of extras whists Minsteam also produce a number of unique extras and upgrades available exclusively through ourselves.

D R Mercer Type 2
Available as a kit, Painted kit or ready to run.
The Type two engine is fitted with traditional English style flat spoked wheels similar to those fitted to most full size traction engines you see on a rally field. It comes with a six spoked flywheel, slightly larger than a type one flywheel, a flanged chimney, pressure gauge as standard. Many optional extras are suitable for this engine.
D.R.Mercer Showmans
Available as a kit, painted kit or ready to run.
The showmans engine is fitted with traditional English style flat spoked wheels similar to those on most full sized traction engines you see on the rally field. This engine is supplied with a solid flywheel, pressure gauge, belly tanks (water tanks), roof canopy, dynamo perch, decorative chimney extensions which lies flat clipped onto the canopy roof & star embossed gear guard as standard . The dynamo and lighting kit are optional extras. Many optional extras are suitable for this engine.
Steam Roller

The Steam Roller is fitted with traditional English style flat spoked wheels. It comes with a two part front roller with working steering chain and a three holed solid flywheel.
Apologies the roller is currently unavailable but we are working on it and it will hopefully be available again in the near future.
